Most pictures of Niagara Falls are taken from the Canadian side. Having been to the Canadian side before, we can now say that we much prefer the American side.
We ate some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had, watch dolphins swimming in the river, and stayed at one of our all time favorite campgrounds.
Jacksonville, FL: We visited the oldest city in the U.S., the oldest fort, a cotton plantation, a French settlement, and canoed with manatees.
Our four days in Louisiana included a visit to the Tabasco Sauce Factory (the best hot sauce on the planet), New Orleans, and a War of 1812 battlefield.
Petting alligators and fishing in Brazos Bend State Park, hitting three museums in Houston, and spending time hanging out with friends.

We spent the last six weeks traveling through Texas and finding out what a big place it really is. There is so much variety here, so much history, so much to see and do.
