We had a bit of a break from writing on the blog from October 2016 to January 2017, so here’s what we were doing during that time: We stopped at one of our favorite places to stay, Monte Vista RV…
We spent a day strolling through Fredericksburg, Texas. Enjoyed Texas-style German food, souvenir shops, and the National Museum of the Pacific War.
In which we visit a 225 million year old petrified forest, a gigantic meteor crater, and chow down on mutton sandwiches on Navajo fry bread.
We had an amazing time visiting the Mesa Verde National Park and the famous cliff dwellings there. Then we learned about Anasazi beans, discovered in the ancient ruins and available today.
This could be one of the most scenic drives we’ve ever done. The Colorado National Monument is a gem you have to visit if you’re ever passing nearby.
If you like Dinosaurs, the area near Vernal, Utah is a great place to visit. It’s called Dinosaurland for a reason. We explored fossils digs, museums, and more.
We spent 10 weeks visiting Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. This is a summary of the highlights from our time there.
We ran into some trouble with our 5th wheel, attended a medical conference, and got to see how coins are minted.
